Up to $20/month on eligible purchases at qualifying U.S. Resy restaurants; since Sept 15, 2026 prepaid Tock reservations and deposits at U.S. venues count too.
Up to $10/month on U.S. rideshare purchases with select providers (Uber, Lyft, Curb, Alto); food delivery excluded.
Every year
Round-trip companion ticket in Delta First, Premium Select, Comfort or Main from the U.S. to the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America, issued in your renewal month each year; the companion pays taxes and fees of up to $80 domestic or $250 international. Basic Economy and Delta One aren't eligible, and it can also cover the flight part of a Delta Vacations package. ~$300 conservative value.
Up to $200 per calendar year on prepaid hotels or vacation rentals booked through Delta Stays on delta.com; can be split across bookings.

Either $120 for Global Entry or up to $85 for TSA PreCheck (through an official enrollment provider), once every 4 years for whichever you apply for first.

15 visits per card each year (reset Feb 1) on same-day Delta flights, not Basic Economy; one visit covers 24 hours. Unlimited after $75,000 in calendar-year spend; extra visits and guests cost $50 each.
Four one-time guest passes each year (issued after Feb 1, expire Jan 31) for guests flying Delta with you; at most two per visit, Basic Card Member only.
Free entry to Centurion Lounges, Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge and Escape Lounges on a same-day Delta flight booked with an Amex card. Up to two guests on your flight at $50 each ($30 ages 2–17); Centurion Lounge entry within 3 hours of departure or 5 hours on a layover.
First checked bag free on Delta flights for you and up to 8 companions on the same reservation. Since June 4, 2026 the cardmember also gets a second bag free on domestic Delta-operated flights; companions still get one.
$2,500 MQDs each Medallion Qualification Year plus $1 MQD per $10 spent.
Eligible tickets go on Delta's complimentary upgrade list right after Medallion members; Medallion members with the card are ahead of others with the same tier and fare (Upgrade Priority).

Before you apply
American Express’s application rules, as reported by people who applied. Banks don’t publish most of these. All banks’ rules
No more than two new Amex credit cards in a 90-day span. Charge cards such as Platinum, Gold and Green are left out of the count. A third credit card application within 90 days is usually turned down.
One new Amex credit card every 5 days at most. A second application within 5 days usually sits in pending until the 5 days are up.
You can usually have up to 5 Amex credit cards open at the same time. Charge cards are separate. With 5 open, new Amex credit cards get declined. Closing or downgrading one frees a spot.
