Every statement credit on this card, how often it comes back and when it resets. Together they’re worth up to $640 a year in cash credits, not counting ones you unlock by spending, points or free nights.
Every month
Up to $20 per month at qualifying U.S. Resy restaurants shown as eligible on Resy, or on Resy and (since Sept 15, 2026) Tock prepaid purchases. Delivery, gift cards and restaurants inside hotels or food halls don't count.
Up to $10 per month on U.S. rideshare purchases with select providers (e.g. Uber, Lyft, Curb, Alto).
Every year
Up to $250 per calendar year on prepaid hotels or vacation rentals booked through Delta Stays on delta.com.
Round-trip companion ticket in Delta First, Premium Select, Comfort or Main from the U.S. to the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America, issued in your card's renewal month. Basic Economy fares don't qualify; you pay taxes and fees of up to $80 domestic or $250 to other eligible places. Valued at about $350.

$120 for Global Entry or up to $85 for TSA PreCheck every 4 years when the fee is paid with the card.

15 visits per Medallion Year (Feb 1 to Jan 31) when flying Delta the same day, not on Basic Economy; a Grab and Go pickup also uses a visit. Unlimited after $75K spend in a calendar year; extra visits and guests cost $50 each.
Free entry to Centurion Lounges, Sidecar and Escape Lounges when flying a same-day Delta flight booked with a U.S.-issued Amex card (Centurion within 3 hours of departure or up to 5 hours before a connection; Sidecar within 90 minutes). Up to 2 Centurion guests at $50 each, who must be on the same flight since July 8, 2026.
First checked bag free for you and up to 8 companions on the same reservation. Since June 4, 2026 the Basic cardmember also gets a second bag free on domestic Delta flights, once per direction.
$2,500 Medallion Qualification Dollars each Medallion Qualification Year, plus $1 MQD per $10 spent (MQD Boost).
Medallion cardmembers get upgrade priority over others with the same tier and fare. Non-Medallion cardmembers are added to the complimentary upgrade list after Medallion members.
Complimentary Hertz President's Circle for the Basic cardmember after you add a Hertz Gold+ number to your SkyMiles profile and enroll in the promotion on Delta's site.
4 one-time Sky Club guest passes for the Basic cardmember, issued after Feb 1 each year and expiring Jan 31. Guests must be flying Delta that day.
Board in Zone 5 on Delta flights when your SkyMiles number is on the reservation; companions on the same booking board with you.
At least 15% off the miles needed for Delta award flights booked on delta.com or the Fly Delta app. Partner-operated flights and taxes are excluded.
20% back as a statement credit on Delta in-flight food, drinks and pre-ordered meals paid with the card.
Access to hard-to-get Resy reservations, early table alerts and member events after you add the card to your Resy profile.
Basic Delta Amex cardmembers pay $179 a year for CLEAR+, $40 below the standard price.

Before you apply
American Express’s application rules, as reported by people who applied. Banks don’t publish most of these. All banks’ rules
No more than two new Amex credit cards in a 90-day span. Charge cards such as Platinum, Gold and Green are left out of the count. A third credit card application within 90 days is usually turned down.
One new Amex credit card every 5 days at most. A second application within 5 days usually sits in pending until the 5 days are up.
You can usually have up to 5 Amex credit cards open at the same time. Charge cards are separate. With 5 open, new Amex credit cards get declined. Closing or downgrading one frees a spot.
