What we cover
For every card in our catalog: each statement credit and perk, how often it comes back, when it resets, whether it needs activation first, the annual fee, and the bank’s application rules. Our goal is that no credit is missing, so nobody leaves money on the table.
Where our information comes from
We start from each bank’s own card pages and benefit terms, then check them against what cardholders report about how credits actually post. Every card page shows the date we last checked it.
Application rules (like Chase 5/24) are different: banks don’t publish most of them, so we describe the patterns applicants have reported and label each one by how reliably it holds.
How we keep it current
Banks change benefits often. We re-check the catalog regularly and update a card as soon as we learn of a change. Credits that have ended come off the page, and credits with a known end date show it.
Independence
- Banks and partners don’t decide which cards we cover or what we say about them. Some banks require that descriptions of their offers match their official terms, which is how we write them anyway.
- Every card is listed the same way, whether or not we earn anything from it.
- We don’t sell rankings or placements.
- The dollar values we show are statement credits as the bank describes them. When something can’t be valued in cash, like points or a free night, we say so instead of inventing a number.
How we make money is explained in our advertiser disclosure.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell us. We check every report, fix confirmed errors and update the card’s “last checked” date.
